I'm Yulia Kriskovets, a relationship coach dedicated to helping couples build deeper, lasting connections. I specialize in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that helps couples navigate conflict and create fulfilling relationships. In addition to this, I draw on a diverse set of tools, including somatic practices (as a trained Feldenkrais practitioner), IFS therapy, and Family Constellations, to support couples in healing and growth.

Approach

The Gottman Method is a way to help couples strengthen their relationships. It begins with understanding the couple’s relationship and uses research-based tools to improve connection. Created by Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman in the 1980s, this method helps couples build trust, improve communication, and deepen their bond. By focusing on understanding, empathy, and emotional connection, the Gottman Method supports couples in creating a stronger and more fulfilling relationship.

What to Expect

Every relationship is unique, so your coaching journey will be designed just for you and your partner. We start by understanding your relationship and creating a plan that supports your needs and goals.

Session 1: Getting Started


In your first session, I will get to know you as a couple. You’ll talk about both the challenges and strengths in your relationship and share what you hope to gain from coaching.

Relationship Check-up


After your first session, you and your partner will complete the Gottman Relationship Check-up online. This includes questions about your personal and relationship history, current stressors, commitment level, and shared values and goals.

Sessions 2 & 3: Individual Sessions


Once I review your check-up results, you will each have a private session. This gives you a chance to speak openly without worrying about your partner’s thoughts or feelings. During this time, I will help you explore your relationship check-up results and begin shaping your personalized coaching plan.

Session 4: Couples Session & Coaching Plan


In your fourth session, you’ll meet with me together. I will share insights about your relationship, highlighting both strengths and areas for growth. Together, you’ll create a roadmap for your coaching journey, focusing on the key areas that will help strengthen your connection.

Ongoing Coaching Sessions


After creating your coaching plan, we’ll continue working on your relationship goals in follow-up sessions. Your progress will be tracked, and you’ll receive support, guidance, and accountability along the way. While every couple’s journey is different, most find that at least 10 sessions bring the most meaningful progress.
